Chair Yoga

A gentle, relaxing yoga experience with seated and chair-assisted poses. Yoga builds strength, flexibility and fitness while also relieving stress and anxiety. The class is an ideal yoga experience for seniors. 

Thursdays: Noon – 1 p.m.

Intro to Belly Dancing

Christine aka Shekhina Noor has performed and taught bellydance in the Indianapolis and Chicago areas for over a decade.   We will learn about the origins of Raqs Sharqi, the Arabic term for bellydance, in its classical Egyptian form as well as do a fusion style.  We will improve flexibility with muscle control in isolated movements, hip pops and drops and shimmy to our hearts' content!  We will also learn to dance with props, such as the veil.  Bring a water bottle.  Wear stretchy pants and t-shirt.  Socks or bare feet.  

Saturdays: 9 – 10 a.m.

PiYo

Combine the body sculpting of pilates with the flexibility of yoga to build strength, flexibility and fitness while also relieving stress and anxiety.

Yoga poses presented with an emphasis on alignment guided by breathing. Yoga builds strength, flexibility and fitness while also relieving stress and anxiety.

Kung Fu

Kung Fu, also referred to as Chinese Martial Arts, in practiced for health and self defense. Veteran instructor, Gerald Laird teaches the Five Animals of Shaolin version.

Tai-Chi

Tai-Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that involves a series of movements performed in a slow, graceful manner along with deep breathing. It helps relieve stress and anxiety and promotes flexibility and balance.

Wednesdays: 7 – 8 p.m. (Beginner)
Thursdays: 7 – 8 p.m. (Advanced)

Kangoo

Kangoo Dance is a safe, energetic, fun and motivating aerobic program taught to music. It's for all ages and fitness levels. Utilizing special rebound shoes to act as shock absorbors to reduce impact and decrease joint stress.

Be Well Weight Loss Class

Join us for a 6 week class giving you the information and support you need to reach your weight goals!  Weight goals are not easy to achieve on your own. Jan, RN/Health Coach from Jan Wellness Coach will help show you some tried and true ways to make it easier!
