When do I come to Court?

You will be notified by mail of your first court session. After the first session, you will be notified in court of your next court date and time. If you have changed your address from the address you gave the police or jail staff, you must contact the court at 317.882.5129. You are responsible for getting the date and time of your court hearings.

What can I bring to Court?

Any documents you believe might be useful, along with any notes or photographs on paper. You cannot bring electronic devices, including cell phones or tablets.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, if they are well-behaved. Children that are disruptive or noisy are not allowed in the courtroom.

What if I have something that I want to show the judge or prosecutor that is on my phone or tablet?

The information must be placed on a flash drive.

What if I miss my Court session?

Immediately contact the Court at 317.882.5129. Arrest warrants are generally issued for defendants who fail to appear for their court dates.

How do I pay my ticket or Court costs?

Court costs can be paid in person at the Court, or by credit card using the methods below.
