City of Greenwood to host Colts Playoff Caravan

GREENWOOD, Ind. –Yesterday, the Indianapolis Colts kicked off “Wild Card Week,” which will include activities to get fans ready for the Colts’ AFC Wild Card playoff game at the Buffalo Bills this Sat., Jan. 9, at 1:05 p.m.

The Colts will bring playoff excitement to Greenwood residents with the Colts Playoff Caravan, featuring Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers, Colts mascot “Blue,” Colts Cheerleaders, Colts In Motion (the team’s interactive, traveling museum), The Blue Crew fan club’s popular fire engine, the Greenwood police and fire departments, community leaders and more.

The festivities begin at 4 p.m. tomorrow and will last until 5:30 p.m. The Colts Caravan route will visit the following neighborhoods: Northern Park, Longdon, Bairwood, Lawndale and the Commons. The Colts Mascot, Blue, will lead the caravan from his mobile stage, while Colts staff pass out free Colts giveaways and prizes. The caravan route can be found below.

Due to current health and safety protocols, physical distancing and face coverings will be followed and enforced. Fans are encouraged to enjoy the festivities from their driveways or from a safe distance. Fans who don’t live in the immediate area may park at the Greenwood City Center and walk to the caravan route.
