The City of Greenwood, IN

Welcome to the website for the City of Greenwood!

The City of Greenwood’s Summer Concert Series returns this Saturday, May 31 at 7 p.m. with live music and fun for the whole family.

Families can experience exciting musical performances at the Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park once again this summer. Residents and visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snack-packed coolers to the park nearly every Saturday from June through August. The Summer Concert Series features a variety of musical genres ranging from pop and rock to country and popular throwbacks.

“The Summer Concert Series continues to be a summer tradition that brings our community together to enjoy great music at one of our many beautiful parks,” said Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers. “It reflects our dedication to enhancing community-centric events for residents and visitors alike. I’m thankful for the Parks and Recreation team’s exceptional work.”

In 2024, Greenwood’s Parks and Recreation Department welcomed approximately 15,000 attendees to the amphitheater for the summer series and looks to increase that number this year with the venue’s ability to host up to 3,000 attendees per concert. The Greenwood Amphitheater is very connected to the rest of the community through an extensive trail network spanning over 50 miles and also features enhanced natural landscaping, native plants and easy access to nearby playgrounds.

Country Summer will kick off the Summer Concert Series this coming Saturday. The summer series ends Aug. 9, with a performance by The Big 80s Band. Select local food trucks will provide food at each concert, along with drink options from Oaken Barrel Brewing Company and Mallow Run Winery.
