Adult Softball

Greenwood Parks & Recreation offers five different adult softball leagues held at Northeast and Westside parks. Enjoy the best adult softball leagues in central Indiana! Each season consists of seven regular season games plus a single-elimination tournament. Team registration is open until April 16 or when each league fills.

2024 Session 1 Registration opens Saturday, February 17 (Closes April 15 or when leagues fill)

Games begin the week of April 29

When: Monday – Thursday: 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.

Where: Northeast Park, Westside Park

Fees: $350 per team

Pickleball

We offer a variety of options for all pickleball enthusiasts – from lessons and tournaments to open play and social events. If you love pickleball, Greenwood is the place for you!

Lessons:

Jonny Marlin, a 5.0 player, hosts group pickleball lessons at the Greenwood Fieldhouse. Lessons are offered for groups of four individuals at a time. Registration required. Space is limited.

When: Thursday: Noon – 1 p.m.

Where: Greenwood Fieldhouse

Fees: $35 per person per session

Pickleball & Pints – Experience a social evening of open play at the Craig Park courts while enjoying a pint from Oaken Barrel.

Pickleball Open – Three days of pickleball! Register for men’s, women’s or mixed doubles events.

Outdoor Open Play – Visit the courts at Craig Park!

Volleyball

Adult volleyball leagues are offered during the fall, winter and spring. Leagues consist of eight games and a single-elimination tournament.

2024 Women's Adult Volleyball League

Our inaugural Women's League opens play on April 1 at the Greenwood Fieldhouse. Teams will play two three-set matches per night for six weeks. The seventh week will be a single-elimination tournament. Games times are 6:00 pm, 6:45 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:15 pm.

Bocce Ball

Love bocce? Gather your team of four and join us for one of our four-on-four recreational bocce ball leagues.

When:

  • Wednesday evening leagues: 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. games
  • May 3 – May 31, 2023
  • June 21 – July 26, 2023
  • August 16 – September 20, 2023 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Where: Old City Park – Bocce ball courts located on east end of Old City Park along Meridian Street.

Fee: $80 per four-person team (eight games plus tournament)

Wednesdays -- June 28-August 9 (off on July 12)

Times: Games will be played between 5:45-8:45 pm at the new Greenwood Fieldhouse

Team Fee: $500 ($150 due at registration, the final $350 can be paid later)

February Golf Scramble Challenges

February Golf Scramble #1  - The Yards - The only 12 hole golf course in Florida

Teams will consist of 2 people
Cost per team will be $40.00
Course: The Yards -  North Florida's 12 Hole Golf Course
Scramble will run from Friday, February 2nd - Sunday, February 18th
Must register online, by phone or at Greenwood Community Center/Fieldhouse front desk by February 10th.

February Golf Scramble #2 - Colorado Country Club
Teams will consist of 2 people
Cost per team will be $40.00
Course: The Yards -  Colorado Country Club
Scramble will run from Monday, February 19th - Sunday, March 3rd
Must register online, by phone or at Greenwood Community Center/Fieldhouse front desk by February 26th.
